AI in education refers to the application of state-of-the-art technology developments in the classroom. In the field of education, AI systems are developed to simulate human cognitive processes like learning, problem solving, and decision making. Artificial intelligence (AI) is beginning to significantly alter how teachers teach and students learn as technology becomes increasingly integrated in our daily lives.  (Czerkawski et al., 2023). AI-powered educational systems allow for highly customised education. This level of personalisation aids in improving comprehension and retention by adapting the pace of content delivery to each student’s particular learning style. Teachers are inundated with data on everything from student performance records to classroom dynamics. AI is able to quickly collect and evaluate this data, providing insights into potential problem areas for pupils and recommending focused actions. This lessens the effort for teachers while simultaneously enabling more accurate and prompt student support. AI can improve inclusivity and accessibility in education. It can give disabled pupils the skills they need to fully engage in the educational process. AI can also translate instructional content into different languages, removing linguistic barriers and increasing access to education for a wider range of people (Idroes et al., 2023).

The possible over-reliance on artificial intelligence is one of the major disadvantages of the growing use of AI in education, particularly when it comes to examinations and evaluations. With capabilities like automatic grading and plagiarism detection, AI-powered solutions have been deployed in assessment processes to make them more efficient in recent years (Jiang, 2021). Although these improvements increase the effectiveness of the educational system, they also present new difficulties that may make it more difficult for students to learn. The possible standardisation of educational information when AI algorithms decide what is deemed “acceptable” or “correct” in accordance with preset standards is a further cause for concern. As pupils are directed towards standard answers and solutions, this may impede the development of independent thought and problem-solving skills and suppress creativity and a diversity of viewpoints (BaHammam et al., 2023)….
